Normally, Teddy liked the weekends when students were free to travel into the city and spend the money they had earned (or not earned). He loved wandering around looking at the different sites the small town of Godfrey had to offer, and just being able to relax with his friends. But today, he was alone. Because today, he was supposed to meet up with his foster family.
Now, Teddy's foster family really weren't bad people or anything. They just... well, they weren't exactly the most open minded. They expected him to dress normally, and to act normally. They also always put meat on his plate, when he went home. He explained time after time he was a vegetarian, but they would always "forget". Right.
Teddy had only been living with them for two years, but they still were vexing. He missed living with his grandma. She had been a vegetarian too, in fact she was the one who had made him the way he was. Teddy was named after her husband, who had died only a few weeks before he was born. Losing him and her son and daughter-in-law only a couple of months later, she had been... well, some had considered her crazy, but Teddy considered her wonderful. He really did miss her. Thinking about her almost made him want to cry. She never tried to force meat onto him...
Teddy decided, about halfway to the steak house he was supposed to meet them at, to not go. Instead, he turned into his favorite cafe. He smiled slightly, settling into a booth and ordering tea. Someone was onstage reading poetry, and Teddy closed his eyes and listened. Yes, this was much better then listening to his foster father talk about golf. Much, much better.

Odette had just gotten dressed and waited ever so patiently outside of her twins door. Though her and Madi weren't always on the best terms, seeing as she was a bit more favored since she had gotten into the private school at all. She really did feel bad about it, and sometimes she even wished she could go to public school instead but her parents wouldn't have it. To them she was their princess prima ballerina and they preferred her to stay that way. Still she tried to spend as much time with Madi as she could, to prove that she didn't disown her like their parents seemed to at times. Guilt washed over her as she waited, she could remember that dinner party last month. yes this is our daughter Odette, our pride and joy....... oh yes and our.... other daughter Madison. she had wanted to hide away from her sibling in shame, as she could see the hurt in her face.
Still this was a good step in keeping their relationship strong as sisters. "come on madi, we don't have all day!"
she teased hearing a shoe hit the door, which was madi's way of saying she was coming. Pushing back some of her brown curly hair she waited folding her arms over her chest and started tapping her foot on the ground. Finally Madi emerged out of the door wearing her usual black attire, but still she looked amazing. Even Odette was wearing average, yet nice clothes out though she had a little more white on than her sister. Madi smiled and started heading down the stairs. "What are you doing standing around? Were wasting daylight." she said, and Odette rolled her dark green eyes before following her down the stairs. From behind you could never tell the difference between the two. Though they both tried to make it easy on other people to know the differences. Odette tended to curl her hair just a little, and wear softer colors while Madi had her hair straight and wore darker colors. Though really the only way to tell them apart is their eyes. Odette had dark green and Madi had a brownish gold color. Both siblings walked towards the mall waiting for the crosswalk to give them the green light to walk. Madi squinted her eyes and Odette tried to spot where she was looking. Madi never told her friends about her sister, and when she was asked about siblings she she didn't say much just a yea and that was it. Odette could see the unease on her twins face as they crossed the street and headed towards the center of the mall where all the little shops and cafes were. Madi did a quick a simple wave to a guy sitting in a healthy cafe not to far off. Must be a friend of hers Odette guessed, one that she didn't bother introducing her to. Odette wasn't good at talking anyways so she stared straight ahead or down at her feet as she walked. Teddy had just finished his tea and happened to glance out the window when he noticed one of his best friends. He stood up, and nodded at the waitress. "I'll be right back." he muttered, before making his way out of the cafe and towards the girl on the street. Cupping his hands around his mouth, he called out to her. "Hey! Madi!" Without waiting to see if she'd heard him, he started running towards her.
When he'd finally caught up to her, he noticed that the girl she was with looked quite a bit like her. They must be sisters. Or close cousins, or somehow related. Or maybe they'd just bonded over how they looked so much a like? Well... that was unlikely. Teddy tapped his friend on the shoulder, and smiled brightly.
"I was hoping to run into someone, today. Especially after blowing off those idiots I'm forced to call my foster family." he smiled at the other girl, checking her out quickly. He smiled at her, and reached out a hand. "Hi! I'm Teddy Lupin. I don't think we've met." He pulled out a chocolate bar from his other pocket, and unwrapped it. He took a bite, and bit back a moan. God, he loved chocolate.

Madison was trying to rush, she wouldn't deny it. Yes she cared about her sister, but still she liked having a place where all they knew was her. Madi Blake not Odette and Madi Blake sure she was a bit territorial over her things, but they were hers after all and Teddy was her friend. Her best friend at the school they went to, she did feel bad about disowning her twin at the public school but few even knew about Odette because she was a trickster. It was the reason she didn't invite people over for sleep overs or at certain days and times unless Odette was at dance practice or other activities she got herself involved in. She clasped her sisters hand and began guiding her through what little people were there in an attempt to hide herself from Teddy. "Hey whats wrong?
Odette had asked, looking a bit concerned but Madi brushed it off. "Nothing, I just want to get to those sales." she lied, and yet she was so good at it that it was second nature at times. Using her free hand she brushed her hair into her face the black hair covering her from that angle. Her bag bumped against her hip as she maneuvered her way around until, of course, the crowds separated leaving the two vulnerable. "Hey! Madi!" She froze, she had been spotted. She cursed under her breath but put on her very convincing fake grin and turned to see Teddy jogging his way over to them, she let go of Odette's hand and took a step forward and folded her arms neatly over her chest. A smaller smile still on her lips as she made herself seem happy to see him, though deep down she wished she had not run into him. How would she talk herself out of this one? "Hey there Teddy Bear." she said as he approached them fully. "I was hoping to run into someone, today. Especially after blowing off those idiots I'm forced to call my foster family." Madi laughed, and nodded. "Yea us to. Its better to go window shopping with more people." more lies, but still she made it seem real enough or at least make it seem like she was in fact glad he was here. She could see Odette finally look up at Teddy, and her eyes darted back and forth between the two and noticed Teddy look her over. "Hi! I'm Teddy Lupin. I don't think we've met." and Madi was about to cut into that but Odette unknowingly answered first. Madi snapped her mouth shut. "Im Odette." she said shyly but eventually lifted a her hand to his and shook it. Madi grinned, Odette probably figured that he knew they were twins and didn't bother mentioning it. Which worked very well in her favor.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]

Teddy looked from Madi to Odette, nodding and smiling. He held his chocolate bar out to his friend. "Well, want a bite of chocolate?" he asked, randomly. He half hoped she'd say no, because he did really like his chocolate. It was the kind with the peanut butter in the center. Amazing. He raised his eyebrows, and then looked around. He was not a window shopping kind of guy. He always ended up wanting to buy something he couldn't afford on his monthly allowance.
"Well, Odette and lovely MadiBaby, why don't you join me at the cafe? This girl was reading her poetry, and she was amazing. I was considering getting up and performing." he said, wrapping an arm around Madi's shoulders. He wondered if the sisters, because thats what they had to be, would join him or go on with their plans.
He brushed his hair out of his eyes, and smiled at her sister. She'd never mentioned having one before. He wondered where she attended school at, cause he'd certainly never seen her around. Maybe that was just because he hadn't really ever looked for people who looked like Madi. He just assumed there was one Blake girl, and that had been fine.
He glanced back at the cafe, and saw the waitress watching him. He winked at her, and she blushed as she collected the empty cup of tea still sitting on his table. Oh right. He needed to pay. Hm.
