"Hey, Tony!" Tony looked around and spotted a group of his friends.
"Er, hey guys." he muttered, making his way over to his group of friends. Michael raised an eyebrow.
"What's wrong?" Kelsey was sitting by him on the grass, silently playing with her lighter. She looked up and met Tony's eyes. Maxxie was talking to Madi, a skateboard under his arm. He looked over at him and smiled. Tony smiled back, although weakly. He then turned back to Michael.
"I'm cool." Maxxie and Madi came over.
"Liar." It was Madi who called him out on it. Tony just sighed.
"Just... rough day. Since when do you skate?" Maxxie smirked.
"I don't. This is Madi's. She's trying to teach me. Want to help?" Tony shrugged. Maxxie nodded, and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, putting on in his mouth. He then set down the board and stepped on it. Tony moved to help him keep his balance, standing behind him and holding his outstretched arms.
Maxxie was listening to Madi's instructions, nodding every so often and leaning slightly back against Tony, his cigarette dangling. Tony reached out his hand, brushing his mouth over Maxxie's ear slightly to distract him, and took the cigarette. He placed it in his own mouth, smiling lightly. Maxxie looked at him sideways.
"Did I say you could have that?" as a reply, Tony kissed him. Firmly, but gently. Tony smirked as they pulled away.
"Right then." he muttered, and Tony let go of him. Madi let him try it out actually moving, and he promptly fell down. Everyone laughed, Madi shaking her head.
"You're hopeless." Tony beamed.
"At least he's good for two things." Kelsey raised an eyebrow at him. The dark haired boy smiled.
"Yeah. Cigarettes and entertainment." Maxxie scowled playfull at him, and Tony laughed again, bad day completely forgotten.
