MAXXIEOLIVER*
No one ever said being sixteen and gay would be an easy thing, especially when you’re class size is only slightly larger than your shoe size.
Maxxie Oliver grew up in the small town of Worthington, NY, population, 200, and he was pretty sure that included the cows. Worthington is known as farm country, everyone lives on a dairy farm, so the switch from tiny cow country to the big city was definitely a shock for the boy who knew more cows than people.
Maxxie has been bullied in the past because of his sexuality, but that doesn’t stop him from expressing himself. He is an openly gay, sixteen-year-old boy with a passion for dance and art. He also loves to sing, even if he isn’t the best at it.
With a whole new world on his shoulders, Maxxie is ready to take on his first real experience away from home, if you don’t count summer camp. Whether the small town boy will survive in the city that never sleeps will be another story. Welcome to Agatha Greenway Academy.
